Don't Mind

Sept 21, 2024

I hope you don't mind the scratches on my knees from be being Clumsy and falling
Or all the brushes on my legs that just appeared one day
Or the marks on my face from picking at my skin
And I hope you don't mind my quiet timidness when we are in a room full of people
Or my childlike excitement when I see something I like
Or me needing to leave a room that's too loud
Or being scared to leave a room that's too quiet
And I hope you don't mind my worry that you're ok
Making sure you have eaten or drank and taken care of yourself today
Or my continue messages of what I'm doing in a day
Not needing a response but hoping I'll get one
And I hope you don't mind me searching for connection
Or wanting nothing more than to spend time with you
Or worried I was too much the moment you take slightly longer to respond
And I hope you don't mind my mass amount of love that has nowhere to go
That I pore out onto people, not worried about if I give too much because I always have more to spare
And knowing whoever is willing to be a place for all my love
Won't mind all that comes along with it
